'Portal 2' puzzle creator launches May 8

A free download that will allow fans of the first-person puzzle game Portal 2 to create their own challenges will launch on May 8.
The Perpetual Testing Initiative will be available for free on PCs and Macs.

The download features a simple puzzle maker that players can use to create and share their puzzles.
Creations will appear on Valve Software's online service Steam Workshop, where players can search for challenges, play them and cast their votes.
A previous Portal 2 download launched last year added test chambers, leaderboards and a challenge mode for the game's single-player and cooperative components.
